Delete your Kairu account

Kairu (by Ringle, Inc.) — the Kairu app for iPhone and Android and www.kairuhq.com. You can delete your account and its data in either of these ways:

In the app: open Settings → Delete account, then confirm with the code we email you.
On the web: use the form above, choose “Delete my data”, and confirm from your email.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Kairu Pro subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

What we delete

Your account, email address and sign-in methods, and all signed-in sessions
Your HERON Check recordings, transcripts, results and history
Your waitlist entry and optional answers
Your device push tokens and your reports about feedback
Research opt-in data, including any audio copy

What we keep, and for how long

A one-way hash of your email address — 30 days, only to stop free checks being reused
Sign-in security records (no email; a one-way hash of the IP address) — up to 1 year
Kairu Pro purchase records from Apple or Google, without your email or account link — up to 7 years, for accounting, tax and refund disputes
Store notifications from Apple and Google — 13 months
The record of your agreement to automatic renewal — 3 years, or 1 year after the subscription ends, whichever is longer
The record of your deletion request and messages you sent us — 24 months
Server logs — 30 days
