Appendix C. Changelog
v0.1 — November 2026 (first online edition)
- Restructured the earlier research manuscript (working title Heard) around the HERON method: one chapter per move.
- Renamed the method and moves: Assert → Own, Drive → Next. Brand: Kairu.
- New: Chapter 1 section on kairos; Chapter 2 "Meet HERON" with a worked example and paper self-check.
- New research: Chapter 5 (Reason) adds argument quality under personal relevance (Petty, Cacioppo & Goldman 1981), weak-argument dilution, and two-sided refutational messages (O'Keefe 1999; Allen 1991). Chapter 7 (Next) adds conclusion explicitness and specificity (O'Keefe), and implementation intentions with the newer, smaller 2024 estimate.
- Moved pace and clarification into a single support-skills chapter (Chapter 8); merged culture material into Chapter 9.
- Renumbered claims by chapter (Appendix A) and added "if-then plans make you 65% more successful" to the claims we do not make.
Planned for v0.2
- Verify ★ references against full originals.
- Add the first reader and workshop case stories (with consent).
- Add pilot data from the HERON Check (thresholds, validation results).
- Begin Korean, Chinese and Japanese editions of the Introduction, Chapter 2 and the five move chapters.
